We follow the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum. This covers children from Birth to five years.
We want all children who attend Play Box Nursery to reach their full potential, so will build an individual plan for each child based on their likes and interests. These are then assessed at the end of each term and adapted accordingly.
Once each child has settled into the nursery routine, they are assessed using the EYFS and their plan is developed to challenge them and move them forward in their development.
Under 2's- we are specifically looking at the three prime areas of the curriculum - Communication and Language, Personal Social and Emotional development (PSED) and Physical Development.
The specific areas of Literacy, Maths, Understanding the World and Expressive Art and Design are introduced as the children progress.
Our personal curriculum is based on what we want the children to learn throughout their time here at Play Box, this is adapted for each child.
We are registered with Ofsted and can provide Early Education for 72 children, aged from 2 months to 5 years.
